Wood Gasification Boilers

New Horizon is pleased to offer four different wood gasification boilers.  The boilers and links to their respective store pages are below.  Note that the boiler size for a particular heating application will vary with the square footage of your building.  Click here for how to properly size your boiler.

EKO Line

The EKO Line boilers can burn cordwood up to 23 inches in length.  The blower is located on the front of the unit.  Therefore, EKO Line boilers are more suited for an outdoor or garage installation because of the slight possibility of smoke spill during the reloading process.

BioMass NextGen

Depending on model size, can burn cordwood in lengths ranging from 18-30 inches.  The blower is situated in the back of the unit which acts as a draft booster and assists with smoke control during the reloading process.  Units are generally advised for an indoor installation.  The BioMass boilers have the added flexibility of burning corn cobs and up to a 50/50 mixture of wood and coal.

BioMass Combo

Primary fuel source is cordwood.  However, the BioMass Combo has an additional backup chamber which can burn oil/gas.  The backup chamber can also be modified to burn wood pellets as well.

Attack DP

Depending on the model, the Attack DP boilers can burn cordwood up to 36 inches in length.  These units are designed for longer wood lengths.  Like the BioMass boilers, the blower is situated in the back of the unit which acts as a draft booster and assists with smoke control during the reloading process.  Units are generally advised for an indoor installation.  The Attack DP boilers also have the added flexibility of burning corn cobs and up to a 50/50 mixture of wood and coal.
